Android 4.4 KitKat update out for Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 2014 Edition

Samsung is rolling out the Android 4.4 KitKat update to its Galaxy Note 10.1 2014 Edition tablet. The update is currently available only for Wi-Fi(SM-P600) variant, while the 3G and LTE models are expected to get it any moment now.

The KitKat update update brings a new user interface with rounded icons similar to the Galaxy S5. It also brings performance improvements, white status bar icons, wireless printing support, full-screen album art and more. The update is dated April 3rd, which is the latest. It is not clear when Samsung plans to roll out the update globally, but the cellular variant is expected get the update soon.

How to Update :

The KitKat update for Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 2014 Edition is currently rolling out in Columbia and will gradually make it to other regions. However, you can manually check for the update by visiting Settings > General >About phone >Software updates.
